This is the first scans from the first roll from the mamiya.It is unergonomical,heavy, and the mirror slap seems to chip your teeth – but it is hadholdable at 1/125(I didnt try less) wide open and is SHARP!
Watched “400 Blows”(Wonderfull acting and cinematography) and “The Good German”(great Casablanca homage)
watched Lost In Translation. I liked it a lot. It seemed very obviuos – it is strange to me some people don’t get it – but I can understand why.

Watched “the Flight” a 1970 (Бег) movie based on Bulgakov – very impressive.
Been to Tel Aviv with Nir Domany. The Mamiya was shipped here,the Leicas were shipped there.

Watched “six string samurai” it’s so deeply idiotic it’s brilliant. I want horn rimmed glasses.
I read all the six of the Akira mangas.I dislike comics and manga but this one is brilliant.
I have seen Blowup – great movie.
This cemetary is used for migrant workers and gentiles(in a city with small populations of both)it is very sad,small mostly neglected and lonely. I doubt it is in use anymore. It is adjasent to another gentile cemetary(WW1 brittish military one).

Boksuneun naui geot(Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance ) – very good.
Gongdong gyeongbi guyeok JSA(Joint Security Area ) – pretty good
both directed by Chan-wook Park and shot on horrible stock.
Shurayukihime(Lady Snowblood) which is the inspiration for the Lucy Liu character in kill bill(and is much better then it)
Zatôichi to Yôjinbô (Zatoichi vs. Yojimbo) which sucked
Gegen die Wand (Head-On) which I watch the second time and love very much. Great movie and the leads are beautiful.
