Luciano Pavarotti RIP

It is a damn shame. I listened to his arias from Turandot last night.

I shot several films lately, developed several, scanned some and worked on some more.
I have something like 100 pics to post – street and portrait.
I possibly found a summicron to replace my summaron.

My internet provider decided he hates me. Please be patient.

I love living in the center.Theres always something to do – as long as you have the energy. I met some people old and new and enjoyed it immensly.Especially a specific new person.

LEICA M3!!!!

I’ve been naughty.
I got three cd’s(Led Zeppelin III,Bob Dylan Time Out of Mind,Infected Mushroom IM the Supervisor -all great)

I also got 2 ugly leica M3’s with some issues(stuck shutters etc),a googled summaron 35/2.8 with matching filter and a brown 34mm canon filter for my canon – all for 200$. I already arranged a deal with a guy who will pay for the CLA’s of both,I will choose one,he will get the other.

here are some pictures of the RF family(canon 7 + 35/2.8,leica m3x2 with summaron)

If all goes well – I migh sell the canon to fund a summicron

The Poor Graveyard

This cemetary is used for migrant workers and gentiles(in a city with small populations of both)it is very sad, small mostly neglected and lonely. I doubt it is in use anymore. It is adjasent to another gentile cemetary(WW1 brittish military one).

the ants remind me of 100 years of solitude.

“When they call me a ladies man I laugh bitterly,
thinking of the 10,000 nights I spent Alone”

Leonard Cohen

I watched “I’m Your Man” – it really shows how the field commander is higher by a magnitude then all who sing his songs.

Watched “Profundo Rosso” – so so.

new amp

pictures from the pepsi can camera from Ashdod.

I still am not sure if I like the toy camera or nor. Maybe a 6×6 or 6×4.5 one will better suit my fancy. The best would be a monocle lens for my nikon but I need a dead nikkor for that – anyone wants to find me one?

I got a 70ies sony amp(high mid range) to change my 70ies sony amp(crappy entry level). Goddamn what a difference. Records with no hum. The old one will either go to someone or will be connected to my computer.

I finished reading “Good As Gold” by Joseph Heller. It is rather good but all of his book seem to be the same(with the exception of “God Knows”) “Catch 22” being the best of them.
