in their own world

My leica is ready, and will be shipped here within a week,my summaron as well. I am still waiting for my mamiya. I managed to dent the filter rings on my nikkor 50/1.4AI and will send it to be repaired. Don’t leavea camera on your table when drinking in company while gesticulating wildly.

Domany is potentialy intrested in the canon so I let him testdrive it and reskinned and reassembled my Yashica 14e – thats the only RF I have now.

I made a monocle lens out of a helios 44 and mounted it on an old zenit e.I tried shooting it with a digital camera and liked the results – the only minus is that i didnt make a diafragm for it yet and I can only shoot wide open(f2 I guess) with a maximum speed of 1/500 on the zenit.

not all men start as equals – but all end up in the same patch of dirt

The pictures were taken within a couple of months, with different cameras within 100 meters of each other. Both men have no names(at least for me – as I dont read the language). One is a brittishcommonwealth WW1 infantrycavalry enlisted man who came to die here for queen and country and the other a migrant worker(?).

I would appreceate a translation of the tombstone. I also don’t recognise the letters – is it chinese?

Since the Rabbinical Council(Who live of our taxes and dont serve in the army) is in charge of births, deaths and weddings – Israel still burries non jews(this definition is antiquted and racist – some people who were prosecuted abroad for being jewish, served in the army and got killed there werent buried appropriately)in another patch, usually in a less then honorable way.
