first developed film from the canon

and fourth shot. Two bw in fridge(I don’t have neg sleeves) and one slide sent of today.

shot today,fuji proplus II iso 100,guess exposures(1/250 f11 sun,f4 shadow). I can say I am pleased.
The filter doesn’t vignette and focus seems right(but I didn’t shoot wide open).
I am more then happy about the flare resistance.
What I don’t like – the lens is to damn light – the camera tilts back on it’s strap.

watched “Tideland”. I didn’t like it.Feels like it is meant to shock with no additional value.

kittens

It is intresting to watch group interaction in kids, but since I dislike human children(to damn loud)I prefer animals.

Whaaat?

The cautios supporter.

We are having a heat wave(42 degree celsius with sandy wind) which kills me.
I am bummed by the major car maintanance I have to pay for soon(100K Kilometers).

Got two long rolls(30.5m) of TRIX(new to me) and PLUSX. I am more or less set for BW film for the next year. Now I just need sleeves.

I watched several movies(בתי קפה,הכלה הסורית) nothing to write home about.

Petra pics

After three attempts – successfull scans:

A beduin soldier. They put him there to protect the antiques but mainly to be photographed by tourists. He was shy and pleasant.

Treasury.

A tourist stamp picture

Necropolis(?) carved into rock

Shrine(?).The rock formation and the man made architecture
compliment each other – man seemed to enhance(as opposed to ruin) it

More to come.

Watched:Aachi and Ssipal(great animation – deeply retarted plot),The Perfume(bad adaptaion of a mediocre book).

yashicamat+velvia=yum

A test roll I shot with the yashicamat on velvia(50 or 100?) a couple of years ago.

View from my study in my parents room.Dusk. 1/2 – 1 second exposure

Abandoned Fire Truck – Beer Sheva
Not All TruckGo To Heaven – between Beer Sheva and MeytarFire Truck Depo Gate – Beer Sheva
Big square slides turn me on.

They are a bitch to scan – Shai Yochai helped me with PS to curve and color balance the last three.

I got a couple of new photo books in the last month:
Shim’on Korbman – “Different Tel Aviv 1919-1936“(I have his print at my parents house) and “Israeli Portraits” by Vardi Kahana.
Both are great – each in its own way.
